China admits accounting issues (Investor's Business Daily)

The country's securities regulator is looking into alleged accounting problems of Chinese companies listed in N. America, as the gov't acknowledged some flaws amid reports of fraud. Corporate misbehavior and Chinese unfamiliarity with the U.S. market have contributed to distrust of Chinese companies, regulatory officials said. Several Chinese stocks have plunged recently amid allegations of improper accounting.
