I've always suspected Herbalife was a scam and now I know it's true.
A friend of mine joined and the leader urged her to give up her job, which fortunately she didn't. However, she and her "team" had to give advance money for the rent of a center where they would work. The "Herbalife leader" took the money and promised to pay the first month of rent.
He went to Europe using the money and instead, conned a girl of the "team" to pay for the rent and sign over the title of the house to act as a collateral for him.
Of course, when the whole thing was found out, he apologized and said it was true, and then disappeared, with the girl in serious danger of losing her house. Of course, no one will ever see their money back.
So, long story short, stay away from Herbalife.
